Scheduling a Tour

How do I book a tour?

Scheduling your visit is easy! Head over to our website, pick your preferred day and time from the calendar, and fill in the online form to secure your spot. Keep an eye on your email for a confirmation and some important details about your upcoming tour.

How many guests can accompany me on a tour?

We're thrilled to have you and up to three guests join us for the tour! Should you wish to bring a larger group, don't hesitate to reach out by calling or emailing us. We're more than happy to try and accommodate everyone. For groups larger than 10, we kindly ask that you book a group tour so we can ensure the best experience for all.

Who can join the tours? Are there age restrictions?

Absolutely everyone is welcome on our tours! We don't have an age limit for our guests. Just a friendly reminder, our tours are a 90-minute walk covering about two miles outdoors, so please consider this when planning who to bring along for the experience.

Will my tour guide be a student?

Yes. Our students are what make UNT special! Student ambassadors will guide you on your in-person walking tour. Our student ambassadors are also your guide for the virtual tour. If you would like to speak to one of our student ambassadors about student life at UNT, please call 940-565-4104 or send us an email at ambassador@unt.edu.

Are tours available on weekends or holidays?

Yes, we offer tours most Saturdays at 10 am and 1 pm, except when the university is closed. It's a great way to start your weekend!

We're open during Spring Break and excited to host tours! However, if the university is closed for holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, tours will be paused. Visit our academic calendar to find information on holiday closure.

What if the tours are fully booked?

If our tours are full, we've got you covered with some fantastic alternatives:

  • Consider taking a self-guided tour. This tour is a great way to explore on your own! It can be accessed through the QR code below. If you're visiting campus during normal business hours, you can stop by the Welcome Center to speak to a current student.

Does the tour include residence hall and dorm rooms?

Our walking campus tour focuses on many areas outside the residence halls. Additionally, visitors can explore a mock bedroom at the Welcome Center during their tour experience. For a closer look at housing options and to schedule a tour of the dorms, please visit UNT Housing.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?

Life happens, and we understand. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This kindness allows another Future Eagle the opportunity to visit. View your confirmation email to cancel or contact us at 940-565-4104.
