Schedule a Tour

The campus walking tour, lasting between 75-90 minutes, will take you through the heart of our campus. So, lace up your most comfortable walking shoes and get ready to explore almost two mile of our beautiful campus come rain or shine. You'll discover our exceptional academic colleges and schools, a wide range of student services, vibrant student life, and the many campus resources at your fingertips.

We invite you to bring up to three guests along with you on the campus tour. Should you wish to bring a larger group, don't hesitate to reach out by calling or emailing us. For groups larger than 10, we kindly ask that you book a group tour so we can ensure the best experience for all.

For a closer look at your area of interest, consider adding an academic tour to your day. And if you're curious about where you might be living, separate tours of our housing options are available. Prospective graduate students may also want to connect with your academic graduate advisors while on campus.

Denton Campus Tours
The UNT Welcome Center is located at 1417 Maple St., Denton, TX 76201 on the southwest corner of Maple Street and Avenue A and across from the southwest corner of the Highland Street garage. Park in the Highland Street Parking Garage, across from the UNT Welcome Center. GPS Address: 620 Central Avenue, Denton, TX 76203.

Frisco Campus Tours
Upon arrival, head to the Frisco Landing Welcome Desk for tour check-in and parking validation. GPS Address: 12995 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033.

Inclement Weather

Your safety and comfort are very important to us. Please check the weather forecast for the day of your scheduled tour.

• Rain: Tours are given as scheduled – bring your umbrella and raincoat.
• Thunder and lightning: Outdoor activities will be paused if there's lightning within 8 miles of campus instead, we will offer a guided virtual tour at the Welcome Center.
• Heat: Summer in Texas is hot, but tours will go on. Wear your coolest clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen and be sure to stay hydrated.
