Bring Your Group to UNT

We offer group tours for high schools, universities/community colleges and community organizations. Our tours provide a thorough overview of university life, including academics, housing and student experiences.

UNT welcomes student groups for campus tours throughout the week! Tours are available Monday through Friday for groups of 10-50 students. Tours are available on Wednesdays and Fridays for groups of 51-100 students. For groups smaller than 10, please book a campus walking tour to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Middle school groups can plan guided tours in Nov., Dec., April or May. Self-guided tours with a scavenger hunt can be scheduled at any time of the school year.

How to Register

  1. Access the tour scheduling calendar and filter by tour type, selecting “Group Campus Tour”
  2. Choose your preferred tour date*, and complete/submit the registration form. You will receive confirmation or alternative options in 3-5 business days.

*If you don't see your preferred date, it is unavailable. You can either reserve a different day or take a self-guided tour. To schedule a self-guided tour.

Additional Information

Group tours are typically conducted from 10-11:30 a.m. If this time does not work for you, please include your preferred time in the "additional information" section of the registration form and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Groups should arrive on time for their campus tour to enjoy the full tour experience. Please notify us at 940-565-4104 if you will be arriving late. Note that we may not be able to extend your tour or adjust the itinerary.

Directions & Parking

Please drop off and pick up students on the southbound side of Avenue A, near Joe Greene Hall. Joe Green Hall is located directly behind the Welcome Center. We will provide parking permits, which should be displayed on the bus dashboard. Buses must park in Eagle Lot 35 during the campus tour. Plan for potential traffic and parking delays.

Self-Guided Group Tours

Explore campus on a self-guided group tour.
We welcome groups to schedule a self-guided tour. These tours offer flexibility for groups to explore our campus at their own pace. It includes a scavenger hunt, campus map and validated parking for buses and small vehicles. Contact us to schedule a self-guided group tour at grouptour@unt.edu.
