Campus Tours
Experience our campus! Touring our campus is a great way for you to learn a lot about UNT in a short amount of time and you'll get information directly from our experts - currrent UNT students! We offer tours Monday-Saturday throughout most of the year and have a couple of different options for touring so you can choose what will best fit your needs.
Week Day tours are offered Monday-Friday at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Week Day tours are half riding and half walking and last about 2 hours. During this tour you will ride our tour tram around campus to check out our residence halls and learn about our programs and services located on the perimeter of campus. Then you will walk through our inner campus to see student life in action. Because we provide transportation for part of the tour, space is limited and reservations are required.
Transfer tours are offered every Friday at 2pm. These tours are given by current Transfer Students, for Transfer Students. Transfer tours are walking tours of campus that last about 90 minutes and focus on Transfer Student needs. You can also meet with a Transfer Advisor in Admissions and visit the Transfer Center as part of your visit. Transfer tours are limited to 10 people to help us provide you with a smaller, more personalized visit. Reservations are strongly encouraged. If you are a Transfer Student but Friday afternoons don't work for you, you can still sign up for any of our regular tours.
Graduate Student tours are offered every Friday at 10am. These tours are given by current Graduate Students, for Graduate Students. Graduate tours are walking tours of campus that last about 90 minutes and focus on Graduate Student needs. Graduate tours are limited to 10 people to help us provide you with a smaller, more personalized visit. Reservations are strongly encouraged. If you are a Graduate Student but Friday mornings don't work for you, you can still sign up for any of our regular tours.
Saturday tours are offered most weekends between now and the end of May. These are walking tours that last about 90 minutes beginning at 9:30am, 11am and 1pm. Admission counselors will be available from 9am-1pm on these days, and can make on the spot admissions decisions if you bring your official transcripts and test scores. Saturday tours are limited to 15 people to help us provide you with a smaller, more personalized visit. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
About the Eagle Ambassadors
Since the fall of 1998 UNT Eagle Ambassadors have been visiting with interested students and showing our guests around campus. The Eagle Ambassadors are tour guides, student recruiters and ambassadors. We also work closely with the Office of the President to provide a student's perspective to guests, donors and alumni of the university. We receive training in UNT history and traditions, serving diverse populations, etiquette and general university knowledge.
The Eagle Ambassador program consists of 21 students with various majors and backgrounds. Our job is to share our experiences, provide information and answer questions about the university from a student's perspective. Click on our photos to find out more about each of us. Chances are you'll find out that you have something in common with at least one of us!
Contact an Eagle Ambassador
If you have other questions or just want to find out what UNT is like from a student's perspective, ask us and we'll answer you as soon as we can. You can email us or we can chat live.
