What's your favorite thing about UNT?

Learn more about Eva ...

Favorite place to eat in Denton:
Taqueria Miguelitos duhhhh because of their TACOS and LSA Burger Co. on the square is pretty amazing as well!

Favorite place to study:
The Business Leadership Building outside patio! It’s a very relaxing place with still a very quiet feel.

Favorite place to shop in Denton:
There so many cute little boutiques on the square that I love but I can never go wrong with T.J.Maxx.

Favorite late night hangout:
The Square, especially during the Winter time! The Square has everything you want from cute shopping stores, to amazing ice cream from Beth Maries (which is AMAZING!) to live music, and amazing restaurants.

Favorite UNT tradition:
Everything about a football game! From the Mean Green March, to the student section, to Boomer the Cannon, to the fireworks, and of course the lighting of the McConnel tower! When you come to a UNT football game you will not miss a second of the announcer and the crowd yelling “That’s good for another Mean Green… FIRST DOWN!”

Favorite class you have taken so far:
Latinos in the US! This is a University Core requirement and if you’re interested in learning more about Latinos around the US I totally recommend this course!

What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at UNT:
How much I have grown as an individual and learning to balance personal life, school, work, and friends and family all in one.

What made you choose UNT:
Dallas is known to be one of the top cities in the media world, 5th to be exact. I wanted to attend a school that was close to the city but where I could get a great degree as well, and UNT offered that. I also choose UNT because of the people that come here, being from 10 hours away was very difficult for me at first, but the faculty and staff, the students and my friends have made UNT HOME.
