Favorite place to eat in Denton: Spiral Diner! Nothing beats vegan comfort food!

Favorite place to study: Either the third floor of Willis by the oval windows or in the Language Lab

Favorite place to shop in Denton: I love going to Recycled Books and wandering around for hours, I’ve found so many cool antique books in there!

Favorite late night hangout: Cuddled up in bed

Favorite UNT tradition: The battle flag! Everytime I drive up from Houston, I see the flag as I come up 35 and it reminds me that I’m home!

Favorite class you have taken so far: Honors Art Appreciation with Professor Bacon, she was an AMAZING storyteller and was really passionate about Renaissance art. It’s one of the classes I’ve learned the most in.

What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at UNT: I found out that I’m pretty independent and I like doing things by myself! On the flip side, I also learned that it’s important to ask for help when you need it.

What made you choose UNT: UNT was the first school that I toured when I was a sophomore in high school and I loved it from the first visit! I came and toured a few more times after that and it only solidified that this was were I was supposed to be!
