What's your favorite thing about UNT?
Going to sound like a broken record here, but the community on campus is so wonderful; everyone is so accepting of all people from all walks of life and deeply determined to promote justice and honest humanity. It is such a passionate, empowering kindness.

Favorite place to eat in Denton:
LSA Burger or Thai Square, depending on how exotic I'm feeling. Eating is one of my favorite pastimes, and Denton caters to that so well.

Favorite place to study:
If it's raining, Zera's. If it's not, Zera's.

Favorite place to shop in Denton:
DIRT CHEAP. This store is what I am.

Favorite late night hangout:
The downtown square is a dream. 24/7 diners, live music, and Christmas lights - nothing better.

Favorite UNT tradition:
The UNT Fight Song is SUCH a mood. It really bands the Mean Green Pride together!

Favorite class you have taken so far:
Global Perspectives. I had the opportunity to travel to London for my Honors Capstone, and experiencing the stories I was reading was the best kind of educational exposure I'll ever have.

What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at UNT:
How much I place other people's expectations on myself. The people I've met and personal obstacles I have tackled have really encouraged me to give myself grace and fully embrace the person I was created to be.

What made you choose UNT:

UNT is one of four undergraduate programs in the nation accredited with the forensics certification program, so that narrowed the list down dramatically. I toured the campus and absolutley fell in love with the community here. It is such an accepting, diverse and passionate group of students and faculty, and Denton is easily the raddest city.
